Liberty Hill, TX: Caitlin Workman, a former Liberty Hill High School graduate and student-athlete, has recently been honored with the prestigious 'Always Expect More of Aggie Teachers' Award for Fall 2023. This accolade, established by the Department of Teaching, Learning and Culture in the School of Education and Human Development at Texas A&M University, stands as a testament to Caitlin's unwavering dedication and passion for the field of education. The Liberty Hill Independent School District (ISD) takes immense pride in celebrating Caitlin's remarkable achievements. Her journey from a high school student to an exemplary educator reflects the district's commitment to fostering excellence and commitment in its students and staff.

The 'Always Expect More of Aggie Teachers' Award, aims to commend outstanding TLAC Clinical Teachers for their exceptional dedication and work ethic in the teaching profession. University Supervisors and Cooperating Teachers nominate these educators, who, upon receiving the award, are honored by the department with a certificate and monetary prize.

A committee comprising members from TLAC Faculty, TLAC Graduate Program, and TLAC Field Experiences Office selects the recipient. This accolade recognizes educators who demonstrate a commitment to excellence and innovation in teaching, echoing the remarkable impact they have within their educational realms. Caitlin Workman's recognition as an award recipient highlights her outstanding qualities as an educator, embodying the award's values and showcasing her substantial contributions to the teaching field.

Caitlin's relentless pursuit of educational growth and professional development has been recognized through this esteemed award. Alongside the recognition, Caitlin has been awarded a certificate and a $200 grant, further supporting her ongoing educational pursuits.

We'd also like to extend our heartfelt appreciation to Liberty Hill Middle School's seventh-grade science teacher, Mark Kizer, Caitlin's cooperating teacher. Mark's guidance, support, and mentorship have played an invaluable role in Caitlin's journey. Monica Miller, Principal of Liberty Hill Middle School, echoes the sentiments of gratitude:
