The Liberty Hill Independent School District Board of Trustees was pleased to announce Travis Motal as the lone finalist for the position of Superintendent of Schools during their Dec. 17, 2025 special-called board meeting. This determination follows a statewide search process and the collection of feedback from Liberty Hill ISD staff and community members to identify the finalist who best meets the needs of the district and its students. 

Mr. Motal brings 23 years of educational leadership experience to Liberty Hill ISD, with a proven track record of advancing student achievement, practicing fiscal responsibility, and fostering strong community engagement. He has served as Interim Superintendent since March 2025, providing steady leadership during a time of significant growth and organizational change.
